thing a day -day 13

Happy Valentine's Day!!

oh, thing a day - i have not forgotten you! i sit here on happy heart day very happy. my dearest brought red, american beauty roses into my abode. yes, flowers for valentine's. it's a once every 5-10 year event, but when it happens, well - i love it.

child received a quickly knifty knitted scarf from mom. yes, i got the idea from belfry. but it was given from my heart. and she loves it. i'd been promising her one, and that got me off my duff to get it done. i put aside my basket and while she went off for a swim with dad - i worked furiously to get it done. luckily, she woke up at 630 this morning, and by the time we finished washing & braiding hair, she was begging to go to bed. so i had 3 full hours to focus on it. i think that's the fastest i've finished any project - ever!

i've got website duties this morning, then i will take child for her weekly playdate. i may sneek off to the movies - or i may just sit and finish work on my basket. it's a dreary, cold, rainy valentine's day, so i'm going to just find a warm spot and enjoy the day...
