Happy, happy day...

Ooh!! It's my personal "happy" day of the week! Thursday. Why? Because I get to play with ALL of my paper stuff to my hearts content - or at least until 7pm when i must leave to pick up girl-child.

I have already loaded my car down with most of my supplies. We have a history club meeting first, then she will go home with her best girl-friend and mom to their house for the rest of the day. *I* will park myself at my favorite scrapbooking store and get a lot of work done. I might get in a good 6 hours today!

First off, I know you're wondering why I'm toting all of my supplies to a store when I could just do it at home. Well, if you're keeping up on me, I ran out on dishes, laundry and many other household duties yesterday in favor of a romp with a 'mouse'. Who can create in such a mess?? Besides, they have snacks, music, good company and plenty of inspiration. I can walk to several locations for lunch/dinner - and NO LAUNDRY looming over me or dishes in the sink begging for my attention. Yes, I'm escaping again.

Besides, I have craft fairs coming up soon and b-day & Christmas-y projects that also require my attention. Must get to work on them. Last night I stayed up WAY too late working on a journal for a dear friends daughter. It's a collage of sorts and I'm just tickled pink at how well it's turning out. Well I tried to put it all together last night and... (again, I stayed up WAY too late) - I punched holes for the back of the book in the wrong spot. GRRRRR. Well - at least everything else came out well. But I have half a book cover to re-make. Waaaaaaaaa!

That's ok though - it's Thursday - it's all about paper. It's my Happy, happy day...
